Time flies when your having fun!!

My sweet first born is turning 12 today.  My, how time has flown.  Its hard to believe that in just one more year she will be a teenager.  She is such an amazing young lady and I am so proud of her! She is such a big help around our here and so reliable.  I thank God that  he blessed us with a sweet small bundle of joy that has grown to be a beautiful, thoughtful, sweet and lets not forget dramatic young lady.  We are so blessed to have all four of our sweet lovies and I give thanks to My Jesus for them.
Abby and Anna had a bday party on Saturday and it was a blast.. We appreciate all the friends and family who took the time to come celebrate with us.  How can you go wrong with Fun, Family, Friends and Food??
Life's been quite busy around here between birthday parties, school, cooking, cleaning, laundry, visitors, devotions  and the list goes on and on but, we love it and we know that's what makes our house a home.

hello I'm Back!

       Hello all,
Sorry it has been a while since I posted!  I've been extremely busy.  I thought I'd just stop by and drop a few lines.  First of all my sweet Abby turned 7 a couple days ago and its just so hard to believe.  It seems just yesterday that she came into this world.  I am so honored to have all my precious children and I try to remember not to take for granted the blessing that they are all healthy.  I appreciate that they have an awesome daddy who spends time with them and devotes himself  to their well being.
I've made lots of new homemade projects that I will try to post soon.  I am so excited about a couple of websites I have been informed of by my sweet sister and I would like to share them with you. First is http://hip2save.com/ where you can find all sorts of coupons and freebie deals!! I've already taken advantage of some of these great deals and I'm so excited.   Secondly is http://www.shoprunner.com where you can sign up for a free trial for free 2day shipping for 30 days for certain stores including ToysRus to name one.  Just don't forget to cancel after 30 days if you don't want to pay. (tip: set a reminder on your phone for day 29).  Now is the perfect time to get this free trial due to the fact that Christmas is right around the corner.                        I'm gonna sign off for now but Ill be back soon.

Friday Fun!

    Hello All,
Today was pretty laid back for us. We hung out at home til about 5 o'clock, then decided to get the kiddos out of the house. We took them out to eat which always turns out to be a little chaotic (soooo many trips to the bathroom LOL) but always fun!  Of course we went to wally world and then they got to go get Ice Cream because they did so good in school this week.  We started a whole new schedule that's been workin' out great and I'm so proud of how they have adapted to it.  Anna and Drew really took charge helping Adam and Abby learn the pledges and teaching them some new songs.  Adam can recognize new letters and he was so excited to cut and glue today.  Abby is reading better everyday and can add so well.  She drew and colored an amazing picture today ~~~ my next little artist.  I am so proud of my sweet babies and love them all so much! I'm gonna sign off, go put on an odyssey and snuggle with them til we all fall asleep!!

Fall is my Favorite

 Happy Fall Ya'll,

I just adore this time of year! The weather is just right and its so beautiful outside all day long. God is so awesome! Have you ever noticed the color palette in the Fall?  It is Gorgeous!!  Well I wanted to share something I made a couple of weeks ago that was so simple, but sooooYuMmY!  It's not like caramel apples are so new or anything, but I had never made them myself. So I was all set to go to the store and buy everything and I realized how expensive caramel can be, so all of a sudden I remembered Aunt Sharon making homemade caramel from sweetened condensed milk.  Sounds crazy and I remember thinking WHAT? when she first told me, but it really works!  There are several ways to go about it.  You can boil the entire unopened can  for three hours in rapidly boiling water~~~ the can has to stay covered with water~~~ that is the way I did it. I have recently heard someone say this can be dangerous, though it worked fine for me. So if you are not comfy doing it that way then you can Google it and it will bring up all kinds of different ways.  I used the store brand which turned out fine, but my sister used the eagle brand and it turned out darker, I don't know if the taste is any differant.  It is definately a cheaper way to get some yummy caramel.. One can covered 10 apples and they were so pretty and yummy!  I rolled some of the apples in peanuts, which made that great salty and sweet combo!   I found a pack of craft sticks for $1 and broke them in half for the sticks. I have to say I was so proud of those caramel apples that I took a pic. (see below)  I would love to hear how it goes if anyone decides to make ca
ramel apples and any helpful tips you may have.

In Our Home ~ We do second chances, We do Hugs and Kisses, We do real, We do mistakes, We do i'm sorrys, We do loud, We do forgiveness, We do family, We do LOVE.  I do my best to home school our four lovely children and I'm learning a lot about patience in the process. I am so grateful to my awesome hubby for his support and giving me  the opportunity to be with our sweet cherubs everyday. Everyday is not perfect, but ain't that what livin' is all about.  I give all glory to my Jesus for anything I accomplish because I need his help and guidance everyday to make it through.  My goal is to share  recipes, crafts and tips that our family loves.  So here goes!!  I am LOVIN the homemade laundry soap I made!!  I found it on the internet so I take no credit for the actual recipe.  I was skeptical about it at first because I didn't know if it would clean our clothing and have that fresh smell that I LoVe.  But let me tell you!  Once I finally broke down and made it I have NO REGRETS>  It's Fantastic!   And super cheap! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!!
